ELDEN RING - Rune Farming Guide

Multiple Rune Farming Methods. Up to 70,000+ Runes per Minute / 4,200,000+ Runes per Hour Introduction Visual guide to farming runes (most efficient methods, from what I've seen). Check the Guide Index, on the right side of the page, to quickly navigate to the section you prefer. Side Note: The advanced method will make getting runes pretty trivial, and you might become over-leveled. I highly suggest that you take your time with the game, explore the world, defeat bosses, and have fun with your journey. However, if you do feel that you are under-leveled, need to buy items, or don't care about being over-leveled, feel free to use this guide. I tried to keep it as spoiler free as possible. You will see areas, gameplay mechanics, and enemy types that you probably haven't encountered before. I'll blur out the unimportant enemies. Beginner (4,300 Runes per Minute): Recommended: - Spirit Mount - Decent Weapon or Ash of War (E.g., Bloody Slash) Advanced (70,000+ Runes per Minute): Requirements: - Online PvP (3 times for a quest) - 2nd main boss, Godrick the Grafted, defeated. - Upgraded Weapon or Ash of War (E.g., Bloody Slash. Preferably Hoarfrost Stomp) I will be making a 3rd section in the future on how to reach the advanced area as a pure offline player. Beginner (4,300 Runes / Minute) This method of farming is only optimal if you haven't defeated the 2nd main boss, Godrick the Grafted. Getting to the Area Part 1 Head over to this area on your map (east of the gate, or northeast of the starting area). Getting to the Area Part 2 You'll see a portal. Use it to teleport to the new area. *semi-spoilers ahead* I'll try to hide as much as possible. You've been warned New Area You've now reached Dragonbarrow Site of Grace 1 Open the door in front of you, and you'll find a site of grace Turn Around Turn around, and head down the steps. Ignore the enemy, usually not aggro. Not sure what triggers it, besides attacking. Blurred the enemy, so you can see it for yourself in-game.

Farming These are the enemies you'll be farming. They hit pretty hard (which is why you should probably rest at the first site of grace), but can be staggered fairly easily, and you can circle around them for easy backstabs. Site of Grace 2 Keep heading downhill, and you'll reach another site of grace, right before the bridge. Personally, I find this location to be better, since you don't have to deal with the enemy by the steps. Finding the Map in the New Area If you want the map for this area. Just go past the 2nd site of grace, past the bridge (avoid the enemy on the bridge, use Torrent, your mount), and stay on the right side of the path (head west). Try to avoid any enemies you may encounter. You'll find a monolith at the area marked on the map. Grab the map there. Advanced (30,000 Runes / Minute) Getting to Mohgwyn's Palace (online play required for a quick quest) ~30,000 runes per minute (depending on player's damage) Requirements: - Online Connection - Defeat the 2nd required boss, Godrick the Grafted - Successfully invade 3 hosts (winning/participation not mandatory) - Strong Weapon (Semi-Required, enemies in this area are tanky) After defeating the 2nd required boss,Godrick the Grafted, and visiting the Roundtable Hold, head over to Rose Church at Liurnia Lake. Talk to White-Faced Varre (the first npc you met at the start of the game), standing by the entrance of Rose Church. Initiate his quest and he will give you Festering Bloody Fingers. Use at least 3 of those fingers to invade other players. You don't have to fight them, if you don't want to, as you can use Finger Severer to leave the players' worlds and it will still count for Varre's quest. After you've invaded 3 different players, talk to Varre again (still at Rose Church), and he will give you the Pureblood Knight's Medal. Use the medal to transport to Mohgwyn's Palace Spoilers Ahead * * * * * * * * * Varre's New Location Rose Chuch can be found here. Talk to Varre, by the entrance, to start his quest-line. Invade 3 players (Online only, other npc invasion quests do not count towards Varre's quest).

New Area Map 1 Once you use the Pureblood Knight's Medal, you will be transported to Mohgwyn's Palace. Head up the steps, and you'll find a corpse with the map of the area. Site of Grace 1 Head up the steps on the left, and you'll find the 1st site of grace. Make sure to use it. Site of Grace 2 Turn around and head back down both steps. Recommended route to get to the 2nd site of grace You should maintain to the left side. You can't go left of the giant tree, so get past the tree, and maintain to the left once again. Once you reach a hill, go up, then make a right. Make sure to spirit dash with your mount, and ignore all enemies, until you use the 2nd site of grace. Use the 2nd site of grace, then turn around These are the enemies you'll be farming. None of them are aggro, except for the red ones, so watch out for those.
